Dr. Pranab K. Chattopadhyay is board-certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Calcutta, completed his Internal Medicine residency at Columbia University in New York, and his nephrology fellowship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Before joining Kidney Hypertension Clinic, he practiced nephrology in Florida and California. He is based at our Winder office, bringing specialist kidney care to Barrow County and the surrounding communities.
Much of his practice is the long, steady work of chronic kidney disease management: watching kidney function over years, keeping blood pressure and blood sugar in range, and adjusting medications so the kidneys are protected rather than strained.
