Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: June 16, 2026

Kidney Hypertension Clinic is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want all visitors to be able to find information about our providers, services, and locations with ease, regardless of how they access the web.

Our Commitment

We strive to provide a website that is usable by the widest possible audience, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time project. We work to align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which are the internationally recognized standards for digital accessibility, and we aim to meet the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Accessibility Features

This website includes a built-in accessibility menu, available from the accessibility button on every page, that lets you:

  • Increase the text size for easier reading;
  • Switch to a high-contrast color scheme;
  • Highlight and underline links for clearer navigation;
  • Switch to a more readable font with increased spacing; and
  • Reduce motion and animations.

Your accessibility preferences are saved in your browser and applied automatically on every page. In addition, we have built the site with:

  • Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • Clear heading structure and semantic, standards-based markup;
  • Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators;
  • A "skip to main content" link; and
  • Respect for your device's reduced-motion preference.

Third-Party Content

Some content on our website is provided by third parties, such as embedded Google Maps. While we encourage these providers to support accessibility, we may not be able to fully control the accessibility of their content. If you have trouble using any embedded content, please contact us and we will be glad to provide the information in another format.

Ongoing Efforts

We regularly review our website and work to improve accessibility over time. As technology and standards evolve, we will continue to make reasonable enhancements to provide an accessible experience for all visitors.

Need Help or Have Feedback?

If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of this website, or if you have a suggestion for how we can improve, please let us know. We welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information you need and to address the issue. We are also happy to assist you or provide information in an alternative format upon request.
